Looking to create a decadent bathroom with Riviera? Read our guide to learn everything about Riviera's brassware solutions.
SHOWERING
There’s a lot to consider when designing your shower, from creating something to suit your lifestyle to deciding more technical elements such as how many outlets you will need. Outlets are one of the most important things to decide as they define which shower valve you should select, for example if you want a fixed shower head and a separate handset and hose, you would need a dual outlet valve as the water will come from two places. If you require a fixed head only, a single outlet will suffice. In this guide we will cover all of this and more so you are equipped with the best knowledge to plan your new bathroom.
Whilst this guide will provide help and advice on designing your bathroom, please speak to an installer prior to purchase. You can also contact our retailers for further support here.
*Please note: a dual outlet valve paired with overflow filler and shower outlet is the only bath/shower combination that works in conjunction together. However, you can pair a bath tap and shower solution to create a cohesive bathroom scheme that would work independently to each other.
STEP 1: SELECT YOUR VALVE
Shower valves are a necessary component in a showering solution, providing full control of water flow and temperature. Riviera brassware has been designed to offer both single and dual outlet options and the below guide will help walk you through this. A single outlet valve can be paired with one outlet, such as a fixed shower head or a hose and handspray. A dual outlet valve features a built-in diverter to switch between outlets to allow for two outlets to be used in the bathroom. Outlet options include: fixed shower head, hose and handspray, or bath overflow filler.
STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR OUTLET(S):
Now you have decided on your shower valve, you need to decide which outlets you would like. Remember to pick one if you have opted for a single outlet valve and two if you have opted for a dual outlet valve.
SHOWER HOSE & HANDSPRAY
An outlet option to provide shower flexibility, a hose and handspray can be handheld or paired with Riviera Slidebar for convenient showering. This outlet can be paired with a single or dual outlet valve.
OVERFLOW BATH FILLER
Overflow bath filler can fill the bath from its circular overflow through a pipe that runs behind the bath. The filler comes with a click-clack waste to remove excess water or drain the bath. Pair with a single outlet valve, or couple with a shower outlet and dual outlet valve for a bath shower solution that works together.

BATHING
Riviera bath brassware includes a variety of bathing options, so deciding the function of your bathing space is key. Choose from deck mounted, wall mounted, or floor mounted to suit your preferred bathroom style.

DECK MOUNTED:
Fitting neatly on the rim of the bath, deck mounted taps can be fixed directly on to the bath itself provided there is a tap hole.
WALL MOUNTED
Riviera's wall mounted valve paired with overflow filler can maximise space around the bath, ideal for a more minimalist look.
RIVIERA OVERFLOW BATH FILLER
For a sophisticated wall mounted solution to bathing, introduce Riviera overflow bath filler with a single outlet valve or pair with the Riviera Deck Panel Valves. Refer to the shower selection above if you are looking to pair this with a shower outlet, this would require the dual outlet valve.
FLOOR STANDING
Featuring floor standing bath legs that should be mounted to the floor, floor standing brassware will provide seamless function.
FLOOR STANDING BATH SHOWER MIXER
The bath/shower mixer can be mounted on legs to provide bath and shower hose use on baths which are designed for floor mounted fittings.
